Old Artwork

Some of my old artwork from 2004-2005.  At the time I was in high school and taking an AP art class.

The drawing below is done in graphite and is one of my favorite drawings from high school.  I was copying a book cover but I don't remember the name of the book.
Acrylic
Colored Pencil (more horses!)
Pen and Ink

Both are graphite.

Candy

Watercolor of my horse Candy.  Candy was born when I was 10, on my family's farm.  She was raised and trained by my family.  When I lived in the US I would participate in speed shows with her.  She is a crazy mare but lots of fun to ride. 😂No automatic alt text available.

Below is the actual photo of her ready to barrel race.

Three Roses

My boyfriend wanted a painting we could print out to use for wedding cards.  So we both thought that roses would be the best for this.  I decided to paint these roses as a mixed media piece.  Using watercolor, gouache, and pen.

Cape

I have this beautiful green cape that my mom made me a few years ago.  I like to make my sister pose for pictures every once and a while. This is not her favorite thing to do because it is always on the hottest day of the year.  But I think the pictures turn out great.

Pan Pastels

I've never been one to use pastels because I did not like using the sticks.  But I liked the way pastels looked.  So I decided to try pan pastels and I really like the way they work.  Much simpler to use then the sticks.  But I do need some more practices with them.

Dreamcatcher

I ordered a set of Edding brush pens online about a week ago.  I've never really used brush pens before but I wanted to try them out.  Below you can see my first drawing with them.  I enjoyed the way the pens work and the colors are great.
