Three Roses

My boyfriend wanted a painting we could print out to use for wedding cards.  So we both thought that roses would be the best for this.  I decided to paint these roses as a mixed media piece.  Using watercolor, gouache, and pen.

Cape

I have this beautiful green cape that my mom made me a few years ago.  I like to make my sister pose for pictures every once and a while. This is not her favorite thing to do because it is always on the hottest day of the year.  But I think the pictures turn out great.

Pan Pastels

I've never been one to use pastels because I did not like using the sticks.  But I liked the way pastels looked.  So I decided to try pan pastels and I really like the way they work.  Much simpler to use then the sticks.  But I do need some more practices with them.
